Arts and Essay Contest for Grades K-12

Greater Duval’s Out East Youth Tutoring and Support Services sponsored an Arts and Essay contest for children from K-12th grade during our 2021 school year. We need your donations "NOW" May 1, 2023 to July 28, 2023 for a "Back To School Rally" for our 2023 - 2024 School year. Below you will get a chance to hear and or see the entries that were awarded in our 2021 contest. Our Arts and Essay contest will use audio visual/spoken word, written word or other art forms to express their feelings on the topic selected for their age bracket and winners will be announced during our "Back To School Rally. Our goal is to Raise $6,000.

Kaletha "Chloe" Hill 6th Grade Winner
I am Kaletha and I enjoy reading, music, eating and school. My favorite color is black and whitebecause they look well together. I love Salmon, chicken and asian fry and many other foods. After High School I want to go to UF get a bacherlar degree in a medical field and start my life again from there.

Jadon Dollard 8th Grade Winner
I am Jadon and I enjoy math, freedom, sleep and eating. My favorite color is green and purple because purple matches my zodiac sign. I love my Mother, money and games and love to eat a shrimp boil , lobster and jumbo shrimp. After High School I want to go to college to become an engineer.
